The WPS Desperately Needs Some Tattoos

Found this the other day. Thought it was amazing for two reasons:

[1] These people are going to have these for life. And if I learned anything after 4 years of USC tuition, it's that one great image conveys more than a boatload of words.

That dude really loves US Soccer, probably watched Green Street Hooligans and likes taking his shirt off. I know for a fact there are some WPS fans out there who love women's pro soccer, probably would watch Green Street Hooligans in Spanish and I have no clue if they like going shirtless or not as I don't know where they got the tattoo.

[2] This isn't a US Soccer contest. This is a contest run by the American Outlaws. When you have a fan group that is that organized, dedicated and has a link to a list of their many chapters...you know you're doing something right.

Let's get these groups going, let's get the fans organized and vocal in the stands, off the stands and in public. And if we have to design logos that aren't as reminiscent of AYSO teams to put on our gear, then SO BE IT.

Was that a dig at the WPS or at US Soccer? You'll never know...
